FlameDog vs. IceBeast0 views:D almost makes we want to re-do the FlameDog to match a little more closely, I had some fun with the IceBeast's floating pixels, and clear beads... FlameDog would look awesome in a darker color scheme with black outlines. Maybe someday.Feb 08, 2010

IceBeast scale pic0 viewsThis is how big the bead sprites are, ie. BIG. IceBeast is 68 pixels long, and well over a foot. He is approaching the upper limits of what I can *easily* do, though I do have plans to make something bigger eventually.Feb 08, 2010

Tutorial dragon 1 viewsI've basically inked this a second time. Well, some of it I left, but as you might notice, I've gone over all the outer lines and made them really heavy, and then all the important dividing lines, like in the legs and at the shoulders, I've made those a medium weight, and tapered them into the larger lines. This makes inking take twice as long, but it looks at least twice as awesome!
If you really don't want to ink twice you can do this as you ink the first time, but my OCD demands I do it this way. :) Feb 06, 2010

How I draw a dragon - step 41 viewsInking time! I've used the finest inking pen I've got, which in this case is a Copic .05 multiliner. I used to use a Micron .05, but I kept breaking it. Microns are what I use for all the thicker lines, but their .05 is just too delicate, the nib is too long for how thin it is. The Copic manages to be a bit sturdier.
Anyhow, at this point I've inked over all the major outlines, and added a few fine lines defining some muscles. I also have NOT erased any of the pencil lines at all here, so you can see how lFeb 06, 2010
